60 years ago, in a small village in the heart of Alsace, an idea was about to change the destiny of a family… and enhance millions of dishes.
In 1966, in Mittelhausen, Georges Colin, having taken over the family farm, began exploring the dehydration of aromatic plants and carried out his very first trials… in the village’s hop dryer!
From this pioneering vision grew a remarkable family business, which is now a key player in the world of spices, herbs, and culinary ingredients. Today, it is led by Eric Colin, Georges’ son.
Rooted in the land, driven by a passion for agriculture and spices, and built on a strong heritage… the recipe has remained unchanged for 60 years!
